Dale Wilker’s love for the great outdoors has taught him to value the only home we have; this blue rock hurtling through space. Over the years, he realized it was going to be critical for society to figure out how to grow much of the food we eat locally. His passive solar building experience led him to be invited as part of the Groundswell community garden team and in 2007, they built the community greenhouse. The Groundswell greenhouse has been used to teach thousands of kids and adults about growing organic food focused on the value of healthy soil. In 2016, his family started a small farm using the growing techniques learned at Groundswell on a larger scale. They currently grow and sell fruits and vegetables from their 1.6 acre farm just East of Invermere." string(6) "Leader" string(77) "https://wingsovertherockies.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/unnamed-scaled.jpg"
