Elena Olsen is a Resource Management Officer with Parks Canada, leading the vegetation management team for Banff (Lake Louise section), Yoho, and Kootenay National Parks. With a background in Plant Science and Entomology, she specializes in vegetation diversity monitoring, invasive species control, and biological management strategies. Since moving to Radium Hot Springs in 2020, she has also become an avid birder, adding a unique perspective to this walk.
