David Gibson has had a cabin on the Columbia River in the meadows for 27 years and has done extensive birding in the area. He has participated in the Colombia wetland bird survey, the Lewis woodpecker and the bank swallow surveys. David has also participated in birding events in South Africa, Botswana, Costa Rica and America. He has attended Wings over the Rockies events over the last 20 years.
