Cam Gillies, grew up in Windermere, immersed in the birds and mountains of British Columbia. A passionate birder and photographer, Cam is a co-owner of Eagle-Eye Tours and loves sharing his enthusiasm for nature with others. His guiding experience spans numerous trips and diverse research projects, from tracking wolverines in the snow to catching endangered leopard frogs. Cam also holds a PhD from the University of Alberta, where he studied the movement of forest birds in Costa Rica. 

 Jody Allair is the Director of Communications at Birds Canada, where he leads the organization’s public relations and media and is the producer of The Warblers Podcast. He has written extensively on birds, birding, and the importance of connecting with nature and has been leading birding tours with Eagle-Eye Tours since 2008. His enthusiasm for the natural world is contagious, making this walk both informative and inspiring.
