Andrea Petzold is an avid back country hiker and skier.  Andrea is a certified hiking guide by The Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and spends her summers hiking at back country lodges throughout British Columbia. She enjoyed a 30 year career as a professional geologist and often identifying interesting geologic features on her hikes.

Andrea has given informative slide shows to The Alpine Club of Canada, The Association of Canadian Mountain Guide and the Invermere Senior’s Association. Andrea is a regular contributor to Wings Over The Rockies field trips with her flower identification walk.

Andrea lives in Invermere with her husband, David and their golden retriever.
